That's It Exactly

TBL has been looking for a good analogy for the season to date, and today she found one.  (No points for guessing why this particular analogy came to her...)

Watching the Twins so far has been like leaving the office for the lunch hour on a nice sunny day and taking a long, invigorating walk through a picturesque area, in shoes that haven't properly broken in yet.

The comments are open.  Post  your analogy!

How about this? It's been like taking a nice warm shower, and then, all of a sudden, the water turns icy cold for no apparent reason. Or this: You've got all the ingredients for a delicious batch of cookies, but once in a while you forget to add the vanilla or cinnamon, so of course the result is kind of bland.

You finally get your red convertable out of storage, you shine it up nice and pretty, you take off speeding down the road with the wind in your hair, and it starts to rain.

* Like playing Rock, Paper, Scissors against a drunk guy. You think you will win but then find out that he is a two-time National RPS winner.

* Is like that time I decided to splurge on a big, fancy coffee drink only to find out that they don’t allow outside beverages at the training I went to. I had to drink as fast as I could but still had to throw most of it away.
